Get Your Ideas Out of Your Head and On Paper to ActuallyGet Ideas out of your head and make Progress Towards Your Goals

I started a new habit a few weeks ago and I wanted to share what I've learned. Everyday before I get out of bed I take 2-3 minutes to write down the 5 most important things that I need to get done that day to move me closer to achieving my goals. Some of the items take 2 minutes, some take all day. What I have learned is that I haven't been able to complete all 5 everyday but I can say that the ones I haven't completed I at least started and finished the next day (or 2). The point being for someone who is as easily distracted as me it really helps with focus and completion and the fact that it's not 3 pages long (I have those too) helps with staying motivated. It is also incredibly satisfying to go to bed knowing that I've made at least 5 more steps towards what I have set out to accomplish.
